We are seeking an empathetic and proactive HR Manager to join our People team and support our rapidly scaling retail business unit. In this role, you'll help ensure every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. As HR Manager, you'll handle complex, sensitive issues with empathy and integrity, driving a work culture grounded in respect and teamwork that supports our accelerated growth. We are looking for someone with expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR best practices-and who has a strong understanding of leave management and accommodations within a dynamic, high-growth retail or customer-focused environment. Keep reading!</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct and manage sensitive employee investigations (including those assigned by the HR Director or initiated through our AllVoices platform), acting as a trusted employee relations resource for our employees while resolving concerns, complaints, and conflicts promptly and fairly, and ensuring thoroughness and impartiality </li><li>Utilize the AllVoices platform to meticulously track, analyze, and provide regular reporting on employee relations metrics, identifying trends and insights for continuous improvement across our growing team </li><li>Provide direct HR business partner support to East Region District Leaders, delivering tailored guidance and solutions to cultivate high-performing teams within a rapidly expanding retail footprint </li><li>Partner with retail leadership on performance management, creating development plans that drive employee growth and success </li><li>Support leaders on using corrective action and constructive feedback to develop talent, resolve issues, and encourage a learning mindset </li><li>Provide guidance on company policies and guide leaders and employees on effective, collaborative workplace practices that mitigate risks and ensure a harmonious environment, even as the business quickly scales </li><li>Lead training sessions to reinforce company values, making sure team members feel confident in our standards and practices </li><li>Administer various leave programs (e.g., FMLA, PFL, short-term disability) and the interactive accommodation process-specifically supporting the interactive leave and accommodation process as assigned by the HR Director-ensuring both compliance with all relevant regulations and a supportive experience for employees </li><li>Lead and support engagement initiatives that celebrate employees, recognize contributions, and build connections across the team within a fast-paced growth environment </li><li>Champion our core values and promote a culture of respect and teamwork, ensuring all voices are heard and valued </li></ul> <p>Who you are:</p> <ul> <li>Backed by 5+ years of experience in Retail HR </li><li>An expert in employee relations, employment laws (including ADA and leave regulations), and creating a supportive workplace </li><li>Someone with excellent problem-solving skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle sensitive issues professionally and confidentially </li><li>Experienced in partnering with and guiding leaders in performance management decisions, particularly in a high-growth context </li><li>Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable style that builds trust </li><li>Able to provide effective HR support-and thrive-in a rapidly scaling business unit </li><li>Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) </li></ul> <p>Extra credit:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with HRIS systems and Google Office Suite </li><li>Experience with employee relations tools like AllVoices </li></ul> <p>Some benefits of working at Warby Parker for full-time employees:</p> <ul> <li>Health, vision, and dental insurance </li><li>Life and AD&D Insurance </li><li>Flexible vacation policy </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Retirement savings plan with a company match </li><li>Parental leave (non-birthing parents included) </li><li>Short-term disability </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>Bereavement Support </li><li>Education Reimbursement </li><li>Free eyewear </li><li>And more (just ask!) </li></ul>
