This is the entry level class in the Revenue Collection Officer sub-series. An employee in this class learns to collect delinquent taxes from businesses and individual taxpayers (or their representative) and performs related work as required. Work involves learning to interpret and enforce tax laws, rules, and regulations through a prescribed set of collection and enforcement procedures.
