<p>Duties</p> <p>K-2nd Grade Self Contained Special Education Teacher</p> <p>Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: creating an environment of learning in the classroom that promotes growth, utilizing different teaching methods to meet instructional needs of individual students, developing lesson plans and using assessments to monitor student progress, communicating with parents on a regular basis, writing and implementing IEP's, and collaborating with general education teachers.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).</p> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>Salary is based on current negotiated contract per education level and years of experience.
