<p>| POSITION Paid Maintenance Intern - 2 positions</p> <p>| LOCATION Butler Tech's Fairfield Township Campus</p> <p>| GENERAL DESCRIPTION</p> <p>The Maintenance Intern will gain hands-on experience in the maintenance field. Under the guidance of experienced maintenance staff, this Intern will assist with various maintenance tasks throughout Butler Tech facilities, including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Painting </li><li>Light Moving </li><li>Light assembly </li><li>Assisting with general maintenance and repair work </li></ul> <p>This Intern will work up to 29 hours per week on a flexible schedule based on the student's availability and the tasks outlined at any given time.</p> <p>| QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Fairfield Township Campus Construction 2025 - 2026 senior; </li><li>OSHA 10 card or willing and able to obtain within 1 month of employment; </li><li>Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc), facilities maintenance, and hand tools relevant to the position; </li><li>Painting experience preferred; </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team; </li><li>Strong work ethic and a positive attitude; </li><li>Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods; </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills; </li><li>Ability to provide customer service, document progress, organize, prioritize, problem-solve, think critically, and exercise professional judgement; </li><li>Satisfactory attendance and discipline record. </li></ul> <p>| APPLICATION DEADLINE Until Filled</p> <p>| RATE OF PAY $15/hour</p> <p>| DURATION Late April - Early August 2025</p> <p>| APPLY TO Butler Tech Careers</p>
