<p>Duties</p> <p>The primary function of the Athletic Director is to manage and oversee the District's interscholastic athletic program and promotes the development of each student who participates in the program.</p> <ul> <li>Promotes a master budget and supervise equipment inventories. </li><li>Prepares a master sports calendar that includes conference and non-conference games/events. </li><li>Coordinates gym, building and athletic field use with the District Office and maintain the district building use calendar. </li><li>Coordinates gym use for practices and games and give final clearance for the use of either the gym or the athletic field. </li><li>Coordinates the maintenance program for facilities and fields (including mowing, seeding, weeding, and lining) with advisement from the Superintendent and Maintenance Supervisor. </li><li>Verifies that each athlete has on file proof of insurance, a physical examination, a parental consent and an emergency permission form. </li><li>Administers the insurance program covering school athletes, and assumes responsibility that all reports and claims are done through the school office. </li><li>Works with coaching staff and transportation supervisor to schedule all athletic departure times and provide bus supervision with trip sheets. </li><li>Coordinates the hiring and paying of officials, team physicians, athletic trainers, police officers, and emergency personnel. </li><li>Assumes overall responsibility for the proper supervision of home games, ticket sales, and the proper handling and accounting of all monies involved. </li><li>Assists in selecting, assigning, and evaluating coaching personnel. </li><li>Plans and supervises an annual recognition program in each sport for all school athletes. </li><li>Maintains records of the results of all high school athletic contests and maintains a record file of all award winners, stating the date and type of award, including athletic scholarships. </li><li>I shall be the duty of each building principal and/or immediate supervisor to provide and review all rules with new employees, to annually review all rules with employees, and to document such rules review for employees by name and date. </li><li>Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience with athletic programs and/or recreational programs. </li><li>Effective interpersonal and leadership skills. </li><li>Experience facilitating communication between divergent groups and in group decision making. </li><li>Effective administrative and management skills, including the effective utilization of computers, technology, and information management tools. </li><li>Ability to maintain good working relationships with fellow employees, parents, and students. </li><li>Enforce school regulations and policies in a professional manner </li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. </li><li>Requires employee to have the ability to push/pull up to 15 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>Refer to page 29 in the Collective Bargaining Agreement for salary information.</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Send letter of application, resume, references, and teaching credentials to the following:</p> <p>Larry Daly, Principal at Central A&M High School</p> <p>229 East Pine Street, Moweaqua, IL 62550 or email to ldaly@camraiders.com</p> <p>Email Address</p> <p>ldaly@camraiders.com</p> <p>School District</p> <p>https://www.camraiders.com/</p> <p>ILearn Link</p> <p>ILearn</p> <p>Report Card Link</p> <p>District Report Card</p> <p>Job Posting Date</p> <p>4/15/2026</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>7/15/2026</p> <p>Start Date</p> <p>6/1/2026</p>
