<p>Job Summary: The Campus Director provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the Clary Sage College (CSC) campus and its programs. This role is responsible for the overall management and performance of campus operations, including organizing, directing, supervising, and evaluating staff. The Campus Director ensures instructional excellence by providing academic leadership and guiding the development and implementation of curriculum and program offerings. In partnership with compliance, this role supports adherence to accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Provides leadership and oversight of instructors, Department Heads, clinic staff, dispensary, and front desk operations, ensuring instructional quality and student success through formal observation, evaluation, and continuous feedback. </li><li>Ability to inspire, lead and train faculty/staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and completing compliance requirements. </li><li>Establishes and maintains a safe, effective learning climate by implementing student behavior, attendance, social- emotional supports which are aligned with company policies. </li><li>Collaborate with Human Resources by providing leadership, coaching and evaluation to direct reports. </li><li>Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart information to a range of clientele and/or media sources. </li><li>Ability to make administrative, procedural decisions and judgments. </li></ul> <p>Operations</p> <ul> <li>Organizes campus operations around improvement of instruction by maintaining safe and orderly environments. </li><li>Collaborate with Admissions and Financial Aid regarding enrollment application, admissions and Financial Aid procedures. </li><li>Work with the Director of Education to facilitate new course approvals, textbooks, and funding needed for equipment & supplies. </li><li>Ensures adequate and effective staffing to carry out program priorities. </li><li>Be knowledgeable with accreditation compliance agencies such as OBPVS, ACCSC and State Cosmetology Board. </li><li>Serve as the campus student services coordinator. </li><li>Participate in licensing and accreditation processes. </li><li>Assist in the planning of educational in-services for faculty as needed to maintain professional development. </li><li>Manages and adheres to the campus's allocated budget, ensuring responsible fiscal oversight, cost control, and alignment of resources with organizational goals and operational priorities. </li><li>Drives student retention, attendance, and graduation rates through proactive monitoring and intervention strategies. </li><li>Supports career services initiatives to achieve strong graduate employment and placement outcomes. </li><li>Addresses student concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a high-quality student experience and positive campus culture. </li></ul> <p>Strategy & Analysis</p> <ul> <li>Analyzes program facilities, equipment, and materials and makes recommendations for needed changes </li><li>Establishes and maintains positive, proactive public relations and clear, consistent communications within the college and throughout the surrounding community, including program marketing and student services. </li><li>Create an environment of Excellence in Customer Service with a focus on Servant Leadership toward students/faculty/staff. </li><li>Advise the President, in consultation with the faculty, on all academic matters. </li></ul> <p>Ownership</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of faculty and or staff hiring procedures, in partnership with HR </li><li>Knowledge of community support services. </li><li>Collaborate and cooperate with colleagues in the achievement of departmental and institutional goals. </li><li>Represent the campus at professional meetings, conferences, and community events. </li><li>Be active in instructor observations to promote professional improvement in the classroom. </li><li>Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude, and conversation. </li><li>Knowledge of student support programs and services. </li><li>Represent the campus at professional meetings, conferences, and community events. </li><li>Collaborate and cooperate with colleagues in the achievement of departmental and institutional goals. </li><li>Reports to the President. </li></ul> <p>Fiduciary Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>Partners with the President on community, corporate, and grant partnerships that would bring additional opportunities to students beyond those provided through the Community Higher Education, Inc. (CHEI). </li><li>Manage the campus P&L. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities:</p> <p>The Campus Director will lead a team of front-line educators and staff in the delivery of an outcomes-focused, hands-on educational program and services. He/She must possess the following</p> <ul> <li>Proven coaching & development skills, including demonstrated ability to support, teach and lead faculty/staff. </li><li>Experience in adult education, development and program administration. </li><li>Prior experience with career college organization's management or program operations preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external partners, including peer-to-peer support through consistent, effective feedback and communication. </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills. </li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills. </li><li>Excellent presentation, public speaking, written and verbal communications. </li><li>Energy, creativity, initiative and entrepreneurial zeal. </li><li>Resilience, resourcefulness and enthusiasm. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to diversity and dedication to excellence in career college education. </li><li>Ability to model the CARES philosophy and core values with courage, teamwork, perseverance, and vision. </li></ul>
