This position will play a key role in corporate initiatives to maintain a robust, modern global network at Azenta. Works on multifaceted problems that always require new and creative thinking.</p> <p>What You'll Do…</p> <ul> <li>Providing production support, architecture, life-cycle management, configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and network appliances and systems in a global enterprise environment. </li><li>Completing documentation and cross-training </li><li>Working with other teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions </li><li>Responding to network-related incidents, service requests and project tasks </li><li>Responsible for planning, ordering, and implementation of LAN/WAN/Wireless equipment </li><li>Utilizes knowledge to monitor, and troubleshoot to resolve requests, problems and outages in a timely and effective manner with assistance from vendors and in-house resources; guides and mentors other members of IT organization </li><li>Providing solid understanding of secure network architecture </li><li>Working with Cisco & Meraki products and installing, configuring, and maintaining routers/switches </li><li>Working with Palo Alto products and installing, configuring, and maintaining firewalls </li><li>Working with AWS - VPN, VPC, Route53, Security Groups </li><li>Building, upgrading, and configuring new and existing system components </li><li>Providing technical documentation for solutions (Diagrams, Test Plans, Requirements) </li><li>Work with outside vendors to planning and installations of data/voice communication networks </li></ul> <p>What you will Bring…</p> <p>Required Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications </li><li>Minimum 6-8+ years of relevant in-depth technical knowledge in areas related to platform specific systems and/or network operations </li><li>Experience in LAN/WAN, SDWAN, VLAN, EIGRP, OSPF, VPN's, MPLS, NAT, QOS and SSL </li><li>Experience in supporting an enterprise infrastructure </li><li>Experience with configuring and supporting enterprise grade network equipment (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls) </li><li>Experienced troubleshooting skills </li><li>Ability to work effectively with personnel on all levels </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills & Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with Network Performance Monitoring Tools</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Project Management</p> </li><li> <p>Experience and Technical Expertise with:</p> </li><li> <p>Cisco Networking Equipment (CatOS, IOS)</p> </li><li> <p>Meraki Networking Equipment (Switches, Wireless, Firewalls)</p> </li><li> <p>Firewalls (Palo Alto)</p> </li><li> <p>VPN (Palo Alto Global Protect)</p> </li><li> <p>Connectivity / Configuration of Networking in AWS</p> </li><li> <p>DNS / DHCP</p> </li><li> <p>6-8+ years' experience in network design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Certifications (ex.
