We provide opportunities for education, parenting support and resources to families in our communities.</p> <p>About the Occupational Therapist:</p> <p>The Children's Center is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our therapy team!</p> <p>Our Occupational Therapist…</p> <ul> <li>Serves the Western Tidewater area: Suffolk, Franklin, Southampton County, and/or Isle of Wight. </li><li>Responsible for assessing and providing therapy services for fine motor skills (daily living skills, motor skills, and sensory/perceptual skills) according to attending physician's written orders and client's individualized care plan. </li></ul> <p>We are most interested in applicants who…</p> <ul> <li>Have 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferred working with young children </li><li>Flexibility with work hours and scheduling </li><li>Positive attitude and strong work ethic </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for Occupational Therapist:</p> <p>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy, be certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and be currently licensed (or eligible to be licensed) by the Virginia Board of Medicine.</p> <p>Must be licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine within 45 days of hire.</p> <p>Must maintain current Early Intervention Certification.</p> <p>Must have demonstrated clinical skills in pediatric occupational therapy principles and techniques.</p> <p>Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations in Western Tidewater.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>14 paid holidays </li><li>Up to 13 paid vacation days </li><li>401K </li><li>Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision. </li></ul> <p>Love working with children?
