<p>The primary focus of the Repair Technician is to maintain the flow of repair work across their workbenches and to coordinate with the supervisor on any issues to prevent potential problems.</p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>For consideration, all candidates must apply through our online career portal. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship. </li></ul> </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Repair components in accordance with applicable Component Maintenance Manuals, Engineering data, and/or other approved data. </li><li>Complete repair work within the requested timeframe as provided by the supervisor. </li><li>Maintain shop supply discipline by insuring available resources are conserved and used efficiently. </li><li>Insure that a proper level of consumables is maintained to prevent work stoppage. </li><li>Insure tooling and test equipment within the work area is in good working order and proper maintained and stored. </li><li>Coordinate with your supervisor any tool and equipment requirements. </li><li>Work with your supervisor on process improvement initiatives that will smooth flow, increase productivity and reduce shop flow days. </li><li>Insure that all work is compliant with Liebherr-Aerospace, customer requirements, FAA and EASA standards. </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED with 1 - 3 years of experience in Aviation Maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>License/Certification in Airframe / Power plant preferred. </li></ul> <p>Position Specific Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Good verbal and written skills </li><li>Ability to operate and communicate across various teams; solid interpersonal communication </li><li>Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide </li><li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical documents and specifications </li><li>Ability to respond to general inquiries or complaints; ability to follow FAA standards and guidelines </li><li>Ability to multitask and work through potentially stressful situations </li></ul> <p>Our Offer</p> <p>An interesting and ambitious role in a successful international company.
