<p>Kforce's client is seeking a Level 2 Production Support Specialist to support and enhance critical production systems in a fast-paced technical environment.</p> <p>Summary: This role is focused on advanced troubleshooting, SQL querying, PowerShell scripting, and automation. Deep domain expertise (e.g., POS systems) is not required at hire, but strong technical capability and the ability to learn quickly are essential.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and support production systems to ensure system stability, uptime, and performance </li><li>Serve as L2 escalation for application, database, and server-related incidents </li><li>Write and execute advanced SQL queries for data extraction, troubleshooting, and reporting </li><li>Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to gather data, generate lists, and automate processes </li><li>Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions </li><li>Design and enhance automation to reduce recurring manual effort </li><li>Support testing activities, including executing test cases and validating fixes </li><li>Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and deployments </li><li>Document incidents, solutions, and automation processes* Strong hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries required) </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting </li><li>Experience running scripts against servers for data collection and troubleshooting </li><li>Experience supporting production systems in a Level 2 capacity </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment </li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills </li></ul>
