<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Shift Supervisor</p> <p>Huntsman is seeking a Shift Supervisor supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Ringwood, IL. This position will report to the Production Excellence Manager.</p> <p>Job Scope</p> <p>Huntsman is looking for a Production Shift Supervisor to lead operations at our manufacturing facility in Ringwood, IL. This position is critical in driving operational excellence, safety, and productivity across a dynamic 24/7 production environment.</p> <p>In summary, as the Shift Supervisor, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and supervise a team of 8-12 operators across various manufacturing processes. </li><li>Collaborate closely with the Production Manager, Production Superintendent, other shift supervisors, and cross-functional teams including EHS, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Supply Chain to ensure efficient, safe, and timely production. </li><li>Oversee the condition and operation of production equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure in alignment with company and regulatory EHS standards. </li><li>Ensure full compliance with all HR and EHS policies, including training requirements, documentation, and employee adherence to procedures. </li><li>Coach and support team development, including associate performance, skill balancing, and corrective actions when needed to maintain a safe, motivated, and effective workforce </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.</p> <p>The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical training preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in chemical manufacturing, with proven leadership or supervisory experience. </li></ul> <p>Skills and knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Strong safety mindset and commitment to quality and operational excellence. </li><li>Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills; training or team facilitation experience a plus. </li><li>Ability to motivate and lead a team toward shared objectives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. </li><li>Proficient in using standard office software and process control systems. </li></ul> <p>Working Environment</p> <ul> <li>Capable of working in a chemical manufacturing environment and in varying weather conditions. </li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, and lift up to 55 lbs. </li><li>Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing manual tasks. </li></ul> <p>Huntsman is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
