<p>Terminal Operator, Logistics</p> <p>The Terminal Operator is responsible for activities related to the receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispensing of liquid petroleum products from the terminal. The incumbent must consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets, employees, and the public. This position is located in Knoxville, Tennessee.</p> <p>PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Set up product delivery receipts for various grades of product delivered by pipeline companies into terminal tankage, including walking from the receiving manifold to each tank and opening the receiving line valves. </li><li>Ensure product is received into the proper tank. </li><li>Perform tank maintenance and inventory control, including hand-gauging tanks for accurate inventory and utilizing automated inventory systems. </li><li>Complete paperwork for receipt gains and losses and pull retain samples for each batch of product received. </li><li>Manage product receipts as the first priority, ensuring accuracy and safety. </li><li>Pull samples of received products from tankage and prepare them for shipment when required. </li><li>Respond to emergencies that may arise at the terminal. </li><li>Perform maintenance and repair of the truck loading rack as necessary. </li><li>Update driver information and truck/trailer information database files. </li><li>Troubleshoot driver and rack-related problems. </li><li>Assist with terminal grounds maintenance, including picking up trash and washing the loading rack. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in offices and bathrooms. </li><li>Conduct security checks, including walking the outer perimeter of the terminal twice per 12-hour shift and documenting the shift log when staffing the terminal without an immediate supervisor present. </li><li>Check all equipment, complete checklists, note any problems, and report them to the Terminal Manager. </li><li>Use general knowledge of computers, Word, Excel, databases, and computer navigation to perform duties. </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Five years of related experience in terminalling or pipeline operations, including knowledge of piping, valves, and pressures, preferred. </li><li>Prior experience requiring mechanical aptitude and skill is a plus. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic understanding of databases and computer operations. </li><li>Ability to work 12-hour day, swing, or night shifts, with potential overtime including weekends and holidays. </li></ul> <p>This description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.</p> <p>We thank all respondents for their interest in PBF Holding Company LLC ("PBF Energy"), however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
