<p>Description</p> <p>The Corporate Finance Group (CFG) is hiring an Analyst who will manage a portfolio of high yield corporate credits within the Business and Consumer Services team coverage. This is a high-profile opportunity for someone who is passionate about demonstrating their credit and analytic competence while engaging with C-suite executives and the broader marketplace. The Business and Consumer Services team within CFG covers a portfolio of companies in diverse end markets such as information technology services, business process outsourcing, human resources, data services, consulting, facilities services and other.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure ratings accuracy for the assigned portfolio through rigorous and timely credit analysis. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant sectors and issuers. Articulate robust credit views and make recommendations to rating committees. React promptly to new developments and market events. </li><li>Build rapport with management teams and the broader marketplace, communicating critical credit views that enhance Moody's Ratings' relevance, expand our brand and reputation as a trusted source of credit insight. </li><li>Publish topical, thought-leading, forward-looking, and transparent research reports. </li><li>Collaborate at all levels internally; coach junior associates and develop their credit skills. </li><li>Cultivate relationships with the highest level of professional integrity, transparency, and fairness. </li><li>Embrace new technologies that support efficiency and process improvement </li><li>Embody Moody's values. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5+ years of relevant credit and financial analysis experience. Strong analytical ability and technical skills in accounting, financial statement and cash flow-based analysis, capital structures and debt documentation. </li><li>Intellectual curiosity, honesty, thoroughness, sound judgment and ability to work independently and in a team. Able to engage in a free exchange of perspectives in an inclusive and open-minded manner. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and succinctly verbally and in writing. </li><li>Outstanding people skills.
