Yes</p> <p>County Albany</p> <p>Street Address State Campus, Bldg 5, Flr 1</p> <p>City Albany</p> <p>StateNY</p> <p>Zip Code12226</p> <p>Duties Description • Manage and direct the day-to-day activities of Project Managers within the DOCCS Dedicated Team.</p> <ul> <li>Drive and coordinate Project Managers' workloads. </li><li>Responsible for all aspects of project governance within ITSM; including Demand, Cost Planning, Milestones, Monthly update review, approval and closeout. </li><li>Prepare project details for Chief Portfolio Office and ITS Finance. </li><li>Liaison between DOCCS Dedicated Management Team and PMs. </li><li>Act as escalation path for any project issues. </li><li>Evaluate project objectives within the parameters of budget, time and scope. </li><li>Actively manage the integration of project processes including impact analysis resulting from changes in project scope, budget or schedule. </li><li>Meet monthly with each project manager to review individual project portfolio and performance. </li><li>Review weekly status reports from PMs. </li><li>Develop and implement project management processes, policies and templates. </li><li>Work directly with Business Solutions, Client Engagement and agency staff to develop priorities, identify project staffing as well as funding. </li><li>Manage portfolio and Project Change Request (PCR) process. </li><li>Responsible for reviewing monthly status reports and preparing monthly dashboards using ITSM. </li><li>Preparing materials for portfolio review meetings with customer agencies to provide project updates as well as various other topics. </li><li>Perform all supervisory responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications Open to NYS employees with one year of permanent competitive service as Project Manager 3, SG25, (previously known as Project Manager 2, SG25) OR in a position at the SG23 level or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in advancement of more than two salary grades.</p> <p>Note: If you are on the examination eligible list for the position title in this location, you do not need to respond to this posting unless you are also eligible for appointment by one of the qualifications listed above. Candidates must be reachable on the current eligible list for this title in order to be list appointed.</p> <p>Additional Comments ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis.
