These are certified police officers in accordance with SC Code of Laws 23-6-430, empowered with full arrest and police authority state wide. They enforce state laws and University rules and regulations.</p> <p>Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience</p> <p>High school diploma. At least 21 years of age at hire.</p> <p>Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>One year experience in public safety/law enforcement, a related field, or comparable educational experience.</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <p>Knowledge of proper law enforcement officer behavior and role.
