<p>Position#Summary Provides support to the logistics areas of the Supply Chain Services department in a hybrid fashion by performing a variety of duties including but not limited to, and in no particular order, courier services, mail room various functions, distribution tech activities, receiving assistance, and support of the OR Supply Tech position. #Daily tasks will be assigned as needed in a collaborative manor between the Mail Room lead and Distribution Supervisor, with input from department leadership. # Primary Position Responsibilities Transports goods as needed between Hunterdon Medical Center and it#s off site affiliates in accordance with published scheduled routes, estimated times, and department policies and procedures. Maintains an accurate courier log and files same on a daily basis indicating times, locations, items, counts, and comments as applicable to the assigned route. Assists in the mail room as necessary by sorting incoming mail and processing outgoing mail as applicable, including other mail room duties as assigned Provides for the proper and safe movement of supplies and equipment and ensure accurate inventory levels of medical supplies to inventory locations. Generates requisition pick tickets using Supply Chain technology (handheld/computer) and accurately pulls and counts storeroom inventory to replenish supply locations throughout the hospital facility.
