This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, designing solutions, configuring the system, testing, and providing ongoing support. Key skills include strong knowledge of PeopleSoft modules, business processes, and system configuration.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into functional requirements for the PeopleSoft HCM system. </li><li>System Configuration: Configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft modules, including setup tables, security, and workflow. </li><li>Solution Design: Designing and documenting solutions that address business requirements, often involving fit-gap analysis and system modifications. </li><li>Testing and Quality Assurance: Developing test plans, test scripts, and test cases to ensure the system functions as expected, including user acceptance testing. </li><li>Support and Maintenance: Providing ongoing support for the PeopleSoft HCM system, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the system meets user needs. </li><li>Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation related to system configuration, business processes, and user guides. </li><li>Collaboration: Working with developers, other analysts, and business users to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of the system. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Level 1: 3-7 years of experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM </li><li>Level 2: 7+ years of experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM, with at least 2 years in leadership. </li><li>Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM modules (e.g., Base Benefits, eBenefits, Benefit Administration, Payroll). </li><li>Understanding of HR processes and how they are supported by PeopleSoft. </li><li>Ability to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design solutions. </li><li>Experience with PeopleSoft configuration, setup tables, and security. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders and technical teams. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions. </li><li>Experience with test planning, script development, and execution. </li><li>Ability to create clear and concise documentation. </li><li>Experience with the latest PeopleSoft version and updates (PUM images). </li><li>Experience with querying and analyzing data in PeopleSoft. </li></ul> <p>Position Details:</p> <ul> <li>Work Location: One Commerce Plaza, 99 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12231 </li><li>Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) </li><li>Duration of Contract: 12 months with extension </li><li>Salary Range: $50 to $80 an hour </li></ul>
