We offer competitive wages, a great benefits package, plus the ability to grow and learn new things!</p> <p>The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing standard and custom industrial ovens and oven systems.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Stay current and informed of new developments in industry and new parts or processes to improve products. </li><li>Research, develop, and design industrial ovens and oven systems, meeting engineering standards, applicable codes, and customer specifications within cost constraints. </li><li>Work with customers and vendors on equipment design. </li><li>Redesign standard products, improving quality and productivity while reducing costs. </li><li>Evaluate and select components and parts for products. </li><li>Develop working relationships with Electrical Engineering and other departments to address and resolve issues. </li><li>Act as a technical resource for Sales, Aftermarket, and Quality Assurance </li><li>Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods. </li><li>Occasionally travel to customer sites. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and three to five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensed Professional Engineer Preferred. Lean Manufacturing experience desirable. Automation/Material handling design experience a plus.</p> <p>Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications. AutoCAD Inventor desired, or experience with similar software. PDM, CADLink, FEA, CFD and ERP experience is a plus.</p> <p>If you aren't familiar with us, Wisconsin Oven Corporation is located in East Troy, Wisconsin.
