This position is also responsible for a variety of cleaning, organizing and restocking duties. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Incumbent will be required to undergo on-the-job training for specific skills and competencies required in the position.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Accurately and promptly follows instructions given by physician/surgeon or RN, when assisting them with patient care procedures. Displays respect for the patient's privacy and dignity when performing duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Recognizes emergency situations and immediately notifies physician/surgeon or RN, if neither are with the patient. Participates in self-evaluation by making notes/comments in the Accountabilities section of the annual review, updating skills checklist, and mutually setting professional goals for achievement with the manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Always reads new policies, procedures, CQI materials and memos. Attends scheduled departmental meetings and reads minutes when unable to attend.</p> </li><li> <p>Attends minimum required town hall meetings each year.
