<p>Schedule: Overnight Shift, 2 openings, Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday</p> <p>Mission: The mission of The Guild for Human Services is to educate, encourage and empower individuals with intellectual disabilities so they may achieve their full potential to lead high-quality lives and participate meaningfully in the community.</p> <p>At The Guild you can join a workforce of creative, dedicated, and passionate employees working every day to enhance the lives of youth and adults with intellectual disabilities and other challenges.</p> <p>Summary: Ensure the health and safety of students and the provision of quality residential</p> <p>supports and services for students during overnight and early morning hours.</p> <p>Primary Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor overnight staff to ensure the safety of students and the implementation of student programs. </li><li>Conduct and record overnight rounds, at a minimum of twice per shift, of each residence. </li><li>Monitor staff performance and assist in yearly evaluation process. </li><li>Ensure employees adhere to all policies/requirements of The Guild for Human Services. </li><li>Administer and record individuals' medications, in compliance with MAP. </li><li>Attend individual's team meetings as requested. </li><li>Attend training as required. </li><li>Transport students to school/appointments. </li><li>Perform all functions of overnight staff in any Guild Residence. </li><li>Provide staff training to overnight staff as assigned. </li><li>Assist in conducting monthly meetings for overnight staff. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including weekends, holidays and inclement weather situations. </li><li>Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich individuals' lives and a willingness to learn from skilled professionals. </li><li>Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs </li><li>Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job.?Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportations of individuals. </li><li>The ability to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (via certification through CPI). </li><li>Associate's degree preferred </li><li>At least two years of experience in a direct-care facility, preferably in a residential setting with a similar population; education may be substituted for one year of experience </li><li>Ability to demonstrate supervisory and administrative skills </li><li>Undergo background record check process </li><li>MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification or the ability to obtain MAP certification within first 90 days of employment </li></ul>
