<p>Description:</p> <p>You will be a hands-on, engineering hardware-focused technician supporting the Statics group at Lockheed Martin. Our team is responsible for providing mechanical support for structural testing applications, and you will play a key role in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team comprising research engineers, systems engineers, and test engineers.</p> <p>What You Will Be Doing</p> <p>As a technician, you will be responsible for providing mechanical support for structural testing applications, including:</p> <ul> <li>Load testing using hydraulic actuators </li><li>Burst testing </li><li>Thermal testing </li><li>Other development vehicle testing </li><li>Interpreting drawing packages, wiring diagrams, and schematics for buildup and teardown of large-scaled structural load test setups </li><li>Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components </li><li>Occasional implementation of metal or wood fabrication for test setup and repairs </li><li>Supporting proof load services provided to the Metrology Group, including: </li><li>Visually inspecting tooling </li><li>Applying periodic loading on engineering/development and production/deliverable tooling </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us</p> <p>We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced technician to join our team. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
