<p>Madison Energy Infrastructure ("MEI") believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and is rapidly scaling its capabilities in developing, constructing, owning, and operating distributed generation assets nationwide. As MEI continues its expansion towards offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers, this role is critical to ensure successful execution of solar PV and battery storage projects across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.</p> <p>The Project Manager leads day-to-day project delivery, ensuring projects are constructed safely, on time, on budget, and with high quality. MEI's projects range from small rooftop arrays to large ground-mounted and solar + storage systems across multiple states. This role requires strong project leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, quality, finance, and asset management.</p> <p>Join our team to help drive the clean energy transition by delivering high-impact renewable energy projects across the nation.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <p>Project Execution & Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Oversee completion of multiple projects at various stages in collaboration with various stakeholders </li><li>Own all aspects of delivery from NTP through PTO and closeout </li><li>Act as MEI's primary representative for internal project meetings and external contractor calls </li><li>Identify and resolve critical construction conditions, risks, and issues </li><li>Ensure compliance with contractual obligations (EPC, PPA, lease, interconnect, regulatory, etc) </li><li>Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients, AHJs, utilities, and subcontractors </li></ul> <p>Budget & Financial Management</p> <ul> <li>Track budgets, change orders, balance-to-complete forecasts, and subcontractor cost control </li><li>Coordinate with Accounting/Finance to maintain accurate reporting and cash-flow expectations </li><li>Assess completed work and process invoices to ensure appropriate vendor payment </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Review, maintain and monitor detailed project schedules </li><li>Identify schedule risks and implement mitigation strategies early </li><li>Ensure timely procurement, permitting, utility milestones, commissioning, and closeout </li></ul> <p>Construction Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with Construction Managers/QAQC reps to ensure safe, high-quality construction </li><li>Conduct site visits, monitor and manage subcontractor work to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget </li><li>Ensure work adheres to design, MEI standards, AHJ/utility requirements, and QAQC processes </li><li>Oversee commissioning, punch-list resolution and collection of final documentation </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and external partners </li><li>Coordinate closely with engineering, independent engineers, legal, finance, accounting, and asset management </li><li>Facilitate internal processes surrounding Independent Engineering review/validation, tax/bank equity financing and asset management handoff </li></ul> <p>Process Improvement & Documentation</p> <ul> <li>Document lessons learned and contribute to improvement of MEI's project delivery processes </li><li>Maintain accurate project records in MEI's project management system (MESH) </li><li>Support adoption of new tools, templates, and best practices </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent </li><li>Minimum 4 years' experience managing solar PV or renewable energy construction projects </li><li>Strong understanding of solar PV installation practices, design documents, and permitting </li><li>Experience managing subcontractors and construction schedules </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to travel to project sites as needed </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Project Management Professional (PMP), NABCEP certification or equivalent </li><li>Experience with battery energy storage systems </li><li>OHSA 10- or 30-hour certification </li><li>Familiarity with project finance, tax equity, or IE processes </li><li>Experience with digital project management tools (Procore, Smartsheet, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>PTO and company holidays </li><li>Medical, dental, vision </li><li>Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance </li><li>401(k) and company match </li><li>Professional development stipend </li><li>Strong culture of collaboration, performance, and personal growth </li></ul> <p>$110,000 - $140,000 a year</p> <p>The actual salary offered may vary depending on job-related factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience and location.</p> <p>How We Work</p> <p>At Madison Energy Infrastructure, we believe in the power of clean energy infrastructure to drive real impact-for our customers, our partners, and the communities we serve.
