<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Rotating Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>A Nursing Clinical Supervisor at Saint Mary's Hospital is responsible for the daily operations of nursing staff within the facility. They ensure the highest standards of patient care by merging clinical expertise with leadership skills. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and maintaining workflow efficiency.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support and mentor nursing staff, assign duties, and monitor performance for timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.</p> </li><li> <p>The nursing management representative is available on-site during off shifts, weekends, and holidays.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with healthcare departments and resolve staff and patient issues.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: A minimum of 1 year of recent Inpatient Nursing Supervisor experience is required. Preference is granted to those with at least two years of ICU/Critical Care experience in Staff Nursing, Charge Nurse, or Assistant Nurse Manager, along with current Nursing Supervisor in an Acute setting.
