As the Merchandising Analyst you will provide support to Website Merchandising teams.</p> <p>Overview of the Merchandise Analyst role</p> <p>You will help manage and create seasonal merchandise databases for Williams Sonoma eCommerce products. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating processes and flow of information internally and externally. As the Merchandising Analyst you will provide support to Website Merchandising teams.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Compile and input data to maintain seasonal product information databases eCommerce and Registry </li><li>Work closely with creative team to assist in creation and maintenance of creative product databases </li><li>Work closely with Website merchandising team to ensure correct site layout </li><li>Interface with inventory management and merchandising teams to ensure site data integrity and correct product set-up </li><li>Create and maintain change forms to ensure database consistency working closely with Creative team </li><li>Interface with site managers, project management and e-technology team for timely database uploads, site deployments, and reporting of issues </li><li>Manage database uploads to merchant preview, dev, and QA testing environments </li><li>Review creative content for product data integrity </li><li>Coordinate and participate in weekly site testing in order to ensure correct data integrity </li><li>Coordinate the archiving of Website seasonal features, functionality, and products </li><li>Other projects as assigned </li><li>Operate a computer and communicate via telephone </li></ul> <p>Criteria</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS required </li><li>Previous e Commerce, retail or catalog experience 1-2 years </li><li>Strong computer skills, including advanced excel skills, and word processing applications, must have an interest in the linkage from systems to the Web, access database a plus </li><li>Well-organized, detail -oriented </li><li>Able to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutions </li><li>Retail experience and basic business knowledge </li><li>Action-oriented and full of energy for challenges </li><li>Able to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment </li><li>Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco office Monday-Thursday. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Just for You</p> <p>Depending on your position and your location, here are a few highlights of what you might be eligible for:</p> <ul> <li>A generous discount on all Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brands </li><li>A 401(k) plan and other investment opportunities </li><li>Paid vacations, holidays, and time off to volunteer </li><li>Health benefits, dental and vision insurance, including same-sex domestic partner benefits </li><li>Tax-free commuter benefits </li><li>A wellness program that supports your physical, financial and emotional health </li></ul> <p>Your Journey in Continued Learning</p> <ul> <li>In-person and online learning opportunities through WSI University </li><li>Cross-brand and cross-function career opportunities </li><li>Resources for self-development </li><li>Advisor (Mentor) program </li><li>Career development workshops and learning programs </li><li>Speaker series </li></ul> <p>WSI will not now or in the future commence an immigration case or "sponsor" an individual for this position (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration</p> <p>This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.</p> <p>The expected starting pay range for this position is $28 - $31 per hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
