We seek qualified candidates to teach Advanced Biochemistry.</p> <p>Course Expectations</p> <p>The successful candidate will be prepared to teach:</p> <ul> <li>Metabolic pathways of carbohydrates, lipids, and amino acids, including their regulatory mechanisms </li><li>Core concepts in genomics and nucleic acid sequencing </li><li>The molecular basis of self-assembly, morphogenesis, and cellular differentiation </li><li>Ultrastructural features of cells </li><li>Neurotransmission, hormones, and cell-signaling mechanisms </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Required:</p> <p>Applicants must hold an M.S. in one of the following fields:</p> <ul> <li>Biochemistry </li><li>Chemistry with a focus in Biochemistry </li><li>Biology </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>Ph.D. in one of the following fields:</p> <ul> <li>Biochemistry </li><li>Chemistry with a focus in Biochemistry </li><li>Biology </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salve Regina University strives to provide equal opportunity in employment and education to all employees, students and applicants.
