For Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, please contact Megan Jones at megan.jones@nebraska.gov</p> <p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Confer with NDCS facilities for business needs, networking needs, networking requirements, training needs, and support material needs. </li><li>Documents appropriate business rules, policies and standards. </li><li>Provides technical instruction/assistance to NDCS facilities on how to use automated applications. </li><li>Investigates reported system and network malfunctions and document findings (solve user errors). </li><li>Analyzes IT infrastructure and business system operation/function solutions for feasibility. </li><li>Documents business system operation/functions and proposed changes/modifications. </li><li>Participates in system analysis and design. </li><li>Responsible for creation and maintenance of business training and support material. </li><li>Travel to NDCS facilities to perform system testing. </li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. </li></ul> <p>Requirements/Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: Post high school coursework, training, or experience in the analysis of business processes and system requirements, and the creation of business process applications.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications: Proficient with data visualization software (PowerBI, Tableau, etc). Experience with statistical analysis software (Stata, SPSS, etc). Working knowledge of programming language (Python, R, SQL, etc). Experience with state government systems, correctional facility operations, or public sector data processes. Advanced skills in Microsoft products. Experience with data analysis, report development, business process improvement.</p> <p>Other: Must have a valid driver's license. Applicant accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam and, at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test.
