And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business.</p> <p>To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit www.amcor.com | LinkedIn | YouTube</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The primary duties and responsibilities of the EH&S/CI Manager consist of, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, implement and manage safety programs, policies and procedures. </li><li>Identify hazardous conditions/actions within the plant and recommend corrective measures. </li><li>Investigate and prepare presentations for all incidents and property losses. </li><li>Organize and oversee all required safety training, i.e. fork truck, lockout, new hire onboarding, etc. </li><li>Provide safety orientation to new employees. </li><li>Conduct Management of Change on new equipment. </li><li>Provide Supervisors/Group leaders with safety training information for weekly and monthly safety meetings. </li><li>Track training to ensure compliance with Corporate Regulatory Task Schedule. </li><li>Identify gaps in training curriculum by analyzing injury/illness data. </li><li>Manage the contractor safety program and ensure compliance. </li><li>Assist inspection personnel from insurance carriers, OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc. </li><li>Manage all federal, state and local environmental permits and ensure compliance. </li><li>Assist in purchasing appropriate personal protective equipment. </li><li>Prepare monthly incident summary reports. </li><li>Supervise maintenance of OSHA 300 log. </li><li>Supervise safety teams. </li><li>Support site as safety mentor for visitors. </li><li>File and maintain SDS sheets. </li><li>Assist with the administration of the workers compensation program. </li><li>Recommend and budget for safety capital expenditure items and annual safety budget. </li><li>Manage all property/casualty insurance claims. </li><li>Perform any other duties established by the Regional EHS Director. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Industrial Safety Management preferred. </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills. </li><li>1 - 3 years Safety Experience in an industrial setting. </li><li>Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations. </li><li>Equal amounts of time spent sitting, standing, and walking. </li><li>Enclosed office space with daily exposure to manufacturing and warehouse environment; must be able to wear all required PPE protection. </li></ul> <p>Additional Info</p> <p>Rate of Pay : $85,000-$90,000</p> <p>Contact</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity</p> <p>Amcor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p> <p>If you would like more information about your EEO rights as an applicant under the law, please click on the "Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal" Poster.
