<p>Account Manager 2 - Target Position Profile</p> <p>The Account Manager is responsible for solving critical business challenges and cultivating new and expanded customer relationships. This role focuses on understanding the customer's environment and aligning appropriate Ricoh solutions to their mission-critical goals and objectives by building strong relationships with decision-makers and key influencers.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Execute business development activities. </li><li>Understand the customer's environment and open new doors with decision-makers and influencers to generate sales opportunities within new and existing accounts, increasing Ricoh's market share. </li><li>Solve critical business challenges for the customer-both those known and those uncovered through research and discovery. </li><li>Understand how customers are buying, focusing on their needs rather than leading with a predetermined product or service. </li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication skills. </li><li>Differentiate Ricoh's ability to accelerate the transformation of the customer's digital environment through storytelling to uncover opportunities aligned with Ricoh's portfolio. </li><li>Articulate how buying decisions impact the customer's financial position. </li><li>Develop and confidently deliver compelling presentations, both in person and virtually. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. </li><li>3+ years of demonstrated business development experience required. </li><li>Experience in an IT and/or software services environment preferred. </li><li>Understanding of document workflow solutions and processes preferred. </li><li>Foundational knowledge of P&L components. </li><li>Ability to research and analyze customers to support appropriate business conversations across accounts. </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with strong attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated success using collaboration to build influence. </li><li>Strong understanding of the solution design process. </li><li>Brings thought leadership to customer engagement. </li><li>Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders. </li><li>Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Ricoh offerings. </li><li>Ability to assess customer environments and create strategies for extending and expanding Core services throughout the customer enterprise. </li><li>Strong learning agility. </li><li>Ability to understand and navigate the customer approval process to create sponsors and advocates. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Typically an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise. </li><li>Work assignments are diversified; requires interpretation, comprehension, and application of complex materials, data, and instructions to prepare and convey varied information. </li><li>Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but may involve walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying items under 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, files, small parts).
