Our culture fosters creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning to position our team members to inspire each other and provide quality products and supporting services that exceed the expectations of our customers.</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>The Associate CMM Programmer will have responsibility for programming, program validation (tape-proof), conventional inspection duties, responsibilities associated with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and calibration of inspection machines as assigned.</p> <p>Additionally, the Associate CMM Programmer will:</p> <ul> <li>Programs CMM inspection. Must be capable of creating and validating launch pad capable programs for production TMIs. </li><li>Calibrates and performs TPMs on CMMs. </li><li>Creates and validates CMM programs, with engineering or a more experienced CMM programmer oversight, performs inspection and provides documentation for development and first run production tape proofs. </li><li>Creates and validates CMM programs, with engineering or a more experienced CMM programmer oversight, for First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements. </li><li>Prepares FAI packages which include all required documentation, inspection data, and updates inspection data base as required. </li><li>Creates CMM program for other production areas, with engineering or more experienced CMM Programmer oversight, and supports needs such for gage and tool inspection and supplier provided hardware. </li><li>Performs final inspections using a variety of inspection gaging as required. </li><li>Assists others in the set-up and operation of CMM machines. </li><li>Assists others in the development of CMM programming skills and standard practice methodologies. </li><li>Familiar with conventional dimensioning and tolerancing and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASMEY14.5. </li><li>Assists in troubleshooting efforts for any programming or methodological issues to support production needs. </li><li>Works with engineering to maintain and suggest opportunities for improvement to inspection methodologies from a technical aspect. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associates Degree in Manufacturing Technology or certification in quality technology and a minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing. Mathematics, problem-solving, communication, and computer skills are required. Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches). (Note - must use a lift assist or assistance from other individual(s) when lifting in excess of 50 lbs.)</p> </li><li> <p>U.S. citizenship is required</p> </li><li> <p>Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
