<p>Description</p> <p>We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our St Louis, MO team with a start time of 7:30 AM. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be primarily responsible for pulling product for customer orders while acting as back up delivery driver. You will also prepare shipments and load trucks while ensuring safety at all times.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li>Pull orders accurately as assigned for daily deliveries </li><li>Act as backup support for route drivers on an as-needed basis </li><li>Stage orders according to truck location and verify the accuracy of pallets, etc. </li><li>Load trucks for daily and special deliveries </li><li>Use power equipment including, but not limited to forklift </li><li>Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate action </li><li>Assist customers and/or drivers in loading materials into vehicles and trucks </li><li>Perform housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>What we're looking for</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, distribution or warehouse environment preferred, but not required </li><li>A valid driver's license and good driving record per company policy </li><li>Willing to obtain or currently have a CDL Medical card </li><li>Willing to obtain or currently have Class E driver's license (MO) or Class C (IL) </li><li>High attention to detail and strong math skills to ensure accuracy </li><li>Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift without assistance (weight varies based on product) </li><li>Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery </li><li>Work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time </li><li>Willing to work overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you</p> <ul> <li>Performance based competitive pay </li><li>Benefits package - no waiting period!
