Number 15903</p> <p>Share</p> <p>more</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our shipping and receiving team at Rohde & Schwarz in Columbia, MD. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This role involves receiving, verifying, and shipping materials accurately while maintaining inventory control and supporting continuous process improvements.</p> <p>Your tasks</p> <ul> <li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders. </li><li>Accurately sort, count, and record items in SAP or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. </li><li>Prepare and process outbound shipments according to company standards. </li><li>Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts. </li><li>Operate basic hand tools and measuring instruments as needed. </li><li>Support warehouse organization and cleanliness. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and efficiency. </li><li>Performs other duties assigned by manager </li></ul> <p>Exciting insights into Rohde & Schwarz</p> <p>Our colleagues provide insider information about:</p> <ul> <li>Daily adventures and challenges </li><li>Our passionate team </li><li>The technologies behind the innovative projects and solutions </li></ul> <p>Your browser does not support the video tag</p> <p>Your qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum 1 year of SAP or similar ERP experience in a warehouse environment. </li><li>Basic understanding of warehouse procedures: receiving, shipping, inventory control. </li><li>Strong math and measurement skills. </li><li>Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). </li><li>Knowledge of material maintenance, product codes, kitting, and production orders. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. </li><li>Must pass background check and drug screening. </li><li>In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the U.S. and have valid US work authorization. </li></ul> <p>Interested?</p> <p>We are looking forward to receiving your application!</p> <p>The total compensation for this position is $20-24 per hour. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level.
