<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The HRIS Manager performs a variety of day-to-day administrative Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency in compliance with relevant HR regulations. Serves as the subject matter expert for Human Resources Information Systems and data analytics platforms, ensuring integrity, security and usability of HR systems. This position requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, as well as provide guidance and training to others.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, direct, and coordinate HRIS activities for the organization to maximize the use of human resources, including user access, data integrity, and system updates. </li><li>Direct the design, selection and implementation or modification of HRIS and other HR software solutions. </li><li>Manage maintenance and accuracy of Team Member data, for reporting and distribution, delivering actionable insights to support business decisions and workforce planning. </li><li>Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements related to recordkeeping and reporting. </li><li>Confirm accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintain data in HRIS systems and databases and ensure information is available on a timely basis. </li><li>Perform group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/report on any data discrepancies. </li><li>Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and respond to basic to intermediate ad-hoc data requests. </li><li>Conduct data analysis on HR data such as compensation, classification, employment, employee relations, and/or benefits data as directed. </li><li>Prepare reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations. </li><li>Coordinate, schedule and track progress of specialized work projects or departmental functions. </li><li>Respond verbally or in writing to inquiries, complaints or problems providing information requiring comprehensive knowledge of Grand Sierra policies and procedures. </li><li>Act as primary contact for assigned function with outside organizations or other departments; respond to technical administrative questions and ensure follow up. </li><li>Manage, monitor or coordinate activities of subordinate HRIS Analyst. </li><li>Unifocus admin for the property; Review time and attendance, biweekly payroll audit, correct or notate errors, create admin users for new leadership, attend weekly meetings to review any projects or questions with the system, and assist property leaders with any questions in regards to job code issues, pay rate issues, PTO approvals, and any areas within Unifocus. </li><li>Serve as Administrator for Datamagine forms and digital files, and Manager Self-Serve. </li><li>Ensure any new or updated HRIS procedures are listed within SOP's/create new ones as needed. </li><li>Assist with LMS admin including reports, data uploads and audits. </li><li>Assist or lead with any projects, tasks, or questions as assigned by HR leadership. </li><li>Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this job description. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Effective communication, both verbal and written, and excellent time management. </li><li>Must possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and Team Members at all levels of the company. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, guests, and the general public. </li><li>Define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a calm, professional manner. </li><li>Must have advanced Excel, AS400 (or other HRIS systems), strong analytical skills. </li><li>Ability to operate personal computer, to access & accurately input information using Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word, Power Point, UniFocus and Infinium. </li><li>Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration in assigned area. </li><li>Knowledge of database maintenance basic concepts. </li><li>Knowledge of SQL server. </li><li>Ability of complex reading, writing, math, attention to detail, and task completion skills is required. </li><li>Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amounts. </li><li>Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, independent judgment, and decision making. </li><li>Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. </li><li>Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in related field and two (2) years of directly related human resources experience; OR, Four (4) years of directly related human resource experience required. </li><li>Or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting and occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, and bending over during the duration of their shift. </li><li>Must be able to lift/carry 10lbs or less. </li><li>The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and require frequent light grasping motions and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required. </li><li>Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. </li><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
