<p>Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges</p> <p>As a Finance and SOX Manager here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and maintaining the integrity of our financial controls. You will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating financial risks, Business planning and consolidation, FI/CO, as well as implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations. You will report directly to our IT Director and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by:</p> <ul> <li>Conducting risk assessments and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls </li><li>Developing and implementing SOX compliance programs and procedures </li><li>Performing testing and monitoring of financial controls </li><li>Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), and FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) and FSCM </li><li>Financial planning tools (CO-PA), budgeting and forecasting software, and other financial applications </li><li>Identifying control deficiencies and recommending corrective actions </li><li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with SOX requirements </li><li>Providing guidance and training to employees on SOX compliance </li></ul> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Conducting risk assessments and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls </li><li>Developing and implementing SOX compliance programs and procedures </li><li>Performing testing and monitoring of financial controls </li><li>Identifying control deficiencies and recommending corrective actions </li><li>Working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with SOX requirements </li><li>Providing guidance and training to employees on SOX compliance </li></ul> <p>YOU MUST HAVE</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field </li><li>Experience in the Finance Domain and related SAP capabilities, including but not limited to: Financial Accounting, Product Costing, Controlling, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, FSCM - Collections and Dispute Management, and Asset Accounting </li><li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting </li><li>Strong knowledge of SOX regulations and requirements </li><li>Excellent thoughtful and problem-solving skills </li><li>Attention to detail and ability to work self-reliantly </li><li>Strong communication and people-oriented skills </li></ul> <p>WE VALUE</p> <ul> <li>Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) </li><li>Experience in a multinational organization </li><li>S/4 HANA is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of SAP or other financial systems </li><li>Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment </li><li>Strong project management skills </li></ul> <p>This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs.
