<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Security Guard Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end oversight of contracted security guard services across a national office portfolio. This role owns guard program standards ("post orders"), vendor performance management, KPI reporting, and issue escalation to ensure consistent, high-quality coverage and customer experience. The role serves as the primary point of contact for the third-party guard vendor and partners closely with site leaders, Facilities, and Office of Security to maintain safe, compliant, and professional security operations.</p> <p>Recruiting for this role ends on Jun 2nd, 2026.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop, review, and maintain post orders and site-specific procedures; ensure alignment to company policies, safety requirements, and local needs </li><li>Standard guard operations across sites (e.g., access control, visitor management, incident reporting, patrol requirements, badging/escalation protocols) </li><li>Lead periodic site assessments and operational reviews to identify gaps and drive corrective actions. </li><li>Own the relationship with the contracted guard vendor: governance, performance reviews, service delivery, and continuous improvement </li><li>Define, monitor, and report program KPIs/SLAs (e.g., staffing fill rate, on-time arrivals, training completion, incident report timeliness/quality, post inspection scores, patrol compliance) </li><li>Conduct routine audits and post inspections (virtual and on-site), validate compliance, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained </li><li>Manage escalations for performance issues, safety concerns, and conduct violations; coordinate investigations as needed. </li><li>Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leadership (monthly/quarterly business reviews). </li><li>Analyze trends (incidents, staffing, overtime, call-offs, service failures) and implement prevention plans </li><li>Drive improvements to processes, technology adoption (as applicable), and guard training/communication. </li><li>Partner with local office/facilities leaders to ensure coverage meets site operating needs </li><li>Coordinate with internal Office of Security teams on incident response, policy updates, and vendor compliance </li><li>Support planning for new site onboarding, site moves, or changes in guard coverage </li><li>Support contract administration: scope adherence, change requests, rate card validation, and invoicing review </li><li>Ensure vendors meet contractual insurance, licensing, background screening, and training requirements </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship required </li><li>Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice or related field </li><li>8+ years of experience in physical security operations, security program management, or facilities/vendor management with a national or multi-site scope </li><li>Demonstrated experience managing a third-party contract security provider and holding vendors accountable to SLAs/KPIs </li><li>Strong capability in writing/updating post orders, SOPs, and operational standards. </li><li>Proficiency with metrics and reporting </li><li>Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and escalation handling </li><li>Ability to travel domestically (estimate 50% travel for inspections, onboarding, and issue resolution </li><li>Ability to work outside normal business hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc. due to after-hours escalation for critical incidents </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Security management certifications (e.g., ASIS CPP/PSP, or comparable) </li><li>Experience with access control/visitor management platforms and guard tour/patrol verification tools </li><li>Experience supporting corporate office environments and executive-facing locations </li><li>Familiarity with regulatory/licensing considerations for contract guard services across multiple states </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate strong operational rigor by consistently executing audits, maintaining thorough documentation, and following through to closure </li><li>Provide effective vendor leadership by setting clear expectations, establishing structured governance, and holding vendors measurably accountable </li><li>Bring a service mindset by remaining professional, calm, and solutions-oriented in high-visibility situations </li><li>Be data-driven by using metrics to prioritize issues, identify trends, and prevent repeat failures </li><li>Exercise sound judgment by escalating issues appropriately and safeguarding people, the company's reputation, and business continuity </li></ul> <p>This is a remote role that is being hired in one of these locations: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Birmingham, Boca Raton, Boise, Williamsville, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Colorado Springs, Columbus, Dallas, Davenport, Dayton, Denver, Des Moines, Detroit, Fort Worth, Fresno, Grand Rapids, Harrisburg, Hartford, Hermitage, Houston, Huntsville, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Louisville, Memphis, Miami, Midland, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Omaha, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Portland, Raleigh, Richmond, Rochester, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, St. Louis, Tallahassee, Tampa, Tempe, Tulsa</p> <p>The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
