Join us and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional products and services to customers worldwide.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>In this summer internship, you'll work closely with the Engineering team on many projects. As the Engineering Intern, you'll build your knowledge in manufacturing and learn more about tooling components. This position offers the opportunity for you to build your skills in a real-world environment.</p> <p>This position will run for eight to twelve weeks, dependent on business need and intern availability.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Sort boxes of miscellaneous products, samples, and display items </li><li>Assess the condition of various product displays, make recommendations for improvements and changes </li><li>Clean up and update existing product displays </li><li>Design new product displays and sales demos </li><li>Scan and digitize paper documents, including drawings </li><li>Updating item weights in system </li><li>Other engineering related tasks or special projects as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing associate's degree in engineering technology or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, at least six credit hours of engineering related coursework completed </li><li>Light SolidWorks or similar CAD experience </li><li>Ability to read and create manufacturing prints </li><li>Basic jig & fixture knowledge </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds on occasion </li><li>Frequent bending, stooping, or crouching. </li><li>Visual acuity to read blueprints, schematics, or small text. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Carr Lane Manufacturing?</p> <p>We set ourselves apart through:</p> <ul> <li>A commitment to quality and innovation in every product. </li><li>A collaborative and inclusive team environment. </li><li>Industry leadership rooted in decades of experience. </li></ul> <p>Your work will be valued, and your contributions will make a difference-not just to the company but to customers worldwide.</p> <p>Website: www.carrlane.com</p> <p>Pre-employment drug testing is required for employment.</p> <p>Carr Lane is an Equal Opportunity Workplace and an Affirmative Action Employer.
