We integrate portfolio management, credit research and trading to deliver innovative solutions for corporate, government, not-for-profit, and individual clients worldwide.</p> <p>Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Leveraged Credit Research Analyst to join our Global Leveraged Credit team in Indianapolis. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-5 years of experience who are eager to work closely with senior professionals in evaluating high yield bonds, leveraged loans and private credit. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, gaining exposure to credit research as well as portfolio management and trading while contributing to the investment process.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work directly with senior sector analysts to generate and present investment recommendations grounded in proprietary fundamental credit research </li><li>Conduct due diligence by engaging with management teams, industry participants and competitors as well as sell-side analysts </li><li>Develop and maintain financial models for covered companies </li><li>Monitor market themes and sector trends, and undertake ongoing surveillance of held investments </li><li>Assess business fundamentals, model financial results, and evaluate new investment opportunities </li><li>Present and debate investment ideas </li><li>Respond to client requests </li></ul> <p>What to Expect:</p> <ul> <li>Work directly with senior investment professionals and gain an understanding of corporate bond, leveraged loan and private credit markets </li><li>Leverage insights of industry/sector experts across JP Morgan Asset Management </li><li>Develop innovative ideas to drive returns for our clients </li><li>Network with industry leaders and access best-in-class training </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field </li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis </li><li>Genuine interest in financial markets and investing </li><li>Authorization to work permanently in the U.S </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Background in financial accounting, financial analysis or mathematics </li><li>CFA Charter-holder or CFA candidate preferred </li></ul>
