<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Inside Sales Coordinator I serves as a key liaison between customers, account managers, production teams, and logistics. This role works closely with a team of Account Managers to ensure excellent customer service, timely order processing, and strong follow-through. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where safety is a top priority.</p> <p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer communication, order status updates, and inquiries.</p> </li><li> <p>Works directly with assigned account managers to support their territories and ensure customers' needs are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates regularly with a regional team of inside sales coordinators to share information, coordinate coverage, and improve internal processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Enters and manages customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring alignment with pricing, lead times, and delivery requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates closely with production and shipping teams to confirm availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports account managers by tracking open orders, assisting with customer follow-up, and being the first line of defense for accounts receivables matters.</p> </li><li> <p>Addresses customer concerns or issues quickly and professionally, escalating when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with inventory checks, product specifications, and order customizations as needed (e.g., cut-to-size lumber, treated wood, custom crate/skids).</p> </li><li> <p>Supports account managers with various duties (e.g., monthly pricing maintenance, product code requests, design requests) as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and helps streamline sales processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with account managers to comply with customer request and to solve customer problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares various reports and correspondence as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to a strong culture of teamwork, communication, and safety awareness in all daily activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of high school graduate</p> </li><li> <p>1+ year of experience in inside sales, customer service, or order entry - preferably in the packaging, lumber, or manufacturing industries.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manager priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Team-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred (but not required)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Familiarity with wood products, lumber grades, or industrial packaging terminology.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of freight/logistics scheduling.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefit Information:</p> <p>Hourly Pay Range: $23.00/hour - $26.00/hour, dependent on experience.</p> <p>Benefits currently offered to our employees:</p> <ul> <li>Medical insurance • Health savings account with company contribution </li><li>Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Basic and voluntary life insurance </li><li>Disability insurance • 401(k) plan with company match • Paid vacation and holidays • Stock purchase program with employee discount • Educational reimbursement • Wellness programs and challenges • Other supplemental benefits </li></ul> <p>Click here to watch what a day in the life of an Inside Sales Coordinator looks like.</p> <p>The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
