Reporting to the President-Titleist Golf Balls, the leader of PG Golf will establish long-range goals, strategies, and implementation plans to deliver financial results by creating strong demand and value for golfers in US and global markets. Based at PG Golf's headquarters in Sugarland, Texas, this role requires building collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and trade partners. The leader will maintain a focus on the PG Golf brand promise- to build lasting relationships by exceeding expectations through integrity and a passion a golf.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strategic Leadership:</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and implement the strategic direction for PG Golf that enables the company to scale globally and meet growth and profitability objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive innovation and operational efficiencies working with the Titleist golf ball team on potential synergies within the respective businesses.</p> </li><li> <p>Further the PG Golf connection with Acushnet Mission, Vision and Values cultivating a strong and enduring culture.</p> </li><li> <p>Operations Management:</p> </li><li> <p>Direct the Purchasing and Retrieval department to acquire the recycled golf ball quantity, quality and assortment required to satisfy sales demand.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee Operations leaders for recycling, refurbishing and whitening processes, optimizing quality control and maximizing efficiency to deliver desired ROI.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure adherence to all health, safety and environmental standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Market Demand Development:</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the sales mix by channel and trade partner</p> </li><li> <p>Prioritize US DTC sales and margin growth while optimally allocating inventory across wholesale sales channels.</p> </li><li> <p>Scale DTC business with top-selling sku's to key golf markets.</p> </li><li> <p>Create demand through strategic and targeted marketing communications that align with Titleist messaging.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide high quality customer service to golfers building loyalty and trust.</p> </li><li> <p>Financial and Performance Oversight:</p> </li><li> <p>Develop the company's strategic plan and financial reporting to ensure profitability and sustainability. Balance long-term priorities with short-term goal delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the SVP Accounting and IT to prepare annual and capital budgets, and analyze ongoing variances to ensure sales, OPEX and profit results are achieved.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Leadership:</p> </li><li> <p>Motivate the management team to exceed objectives and drive desired results.</p> </li><li> <p>With the VP HR, prioritize HR practices and support key initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Attract, develop, reward and retain the best possible talent to drive performance.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>BS or BA. MBA preferred. </li><li>At least 15 years' experience in golf industry leadership positions demonstrating a proven track record of results. </li><li>Leader who has demonstrated strategic thinking and can set a vision for the future. </li><li>Significant P&L responsibility and success achieving measurable financial results. </li><li>Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment. </li><li>Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to optimize product sales performance. </li><li>Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization. </li></ul> <p>Salary: $214,943-$289,665</p>
