<p>The Head of Americas Real Estate will lead the planning, acquisition, development, management and optimization of the company's Americas real estate portfolio. The role will ensure that real estate initiatives support the company's business objectives, operational efficiency and financial performance.</p> <p>The role will be responsible for the following specific areas, including, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Leading a team of real estate, facilities and project management professionals </li><li>Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs </li><li>Build strong relationships with brokers, landlords, developers and public agencies </li><li>Delivering innovation in methods, tools and processes </li><li>Analyzing industry trends and evolving technology to proactively provide world-class workplace services </li></ul> <p>The Head of Americas Real Estate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee site selection, market analysis and portfolio optimization to maximize operational efficiency and ROI </li><li>Provide leadership in property acquisition, leasing, divestment and capital investment decisions </li><li>Manage a diverse portfolio of owned and leased properties across the Americas </li><li>Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies </li><li>Develop and manage annual budgets for real estate and facilities </li><li>Identify and mitigate real estate related risks and exposures </li><li>Partner with business leaders to create innovative, employee-centric workplace environments </li><li>Develop and consistently deliver an effective and clear communications program regarding real estate programs/processes to global and specific employee audiences on an ongoing, proactive basis </li><li>Provide senior leadership with a regular analysis, insight and recommendations on real estate matters including conducting regular external benchmarking analysis and comparisons of real estate programs </li></ul> <p>A minimum of 15 years of professional experience, in progressively responsible real estate roles, ultimately leading the function with a multi-country portfolio, including direct and matrixed people management, with a demonstrable track record of organizational achievements</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated track record in large-scale transactions, global lease negotiations and delivery of capital projects </li><li>Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and influence business, as well as functional partners </li><li>Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment </li><li>Excellent negotiation and communication skills </li><li>Strategic mindset with strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills </li><li>Deep knowledge of industry and global trends and workplace strategy </li><li>Exceptionally self-motivated and directed </li><li>Company platform experience: experience in a global, publicly traded, Fortune 500 company, financial services background desirable </li><li>Education: a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business administration; a master's degree in a related field and/or a Master of Business Administration is highly preferred </li></ul>
