<p>General Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on support to the Dentist, completing preparation work to efficiently care for patients and assist during dental procedures.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> <p>X-Ray Certification (or completion within 6 months of hire)</p> <p>BLS Certification</p> <p>Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.</p> <p>Good written and verbal communication skills.</p> <p>Consistently professional appearance and attitude.</p> <p>Able to provide great patient care.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>1 year experience as a dental assistant</p> <p>Candidates who do not meet all of the preferred qualifications are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Significant Job Functions:</p> <p>Sterilization of dental instruments</p> <p>Setting up dental procedures</p> <p>Demonstrating and developing x-ray films</p> <p>Taking alginate impressions</p> <p>Ability to take clear x-ray films</p> <p>Document vitals and chief complaints in chart</p> <p>Document notes in chart</p> <p>Document treatment plan in chart</p> <p>Physical Effort/ Environment:</p> <p>The duties of this position are performed onsite at a Thundermist location.</p> <p>This position requires the use of fingers and hand manipulation using instruments and dental equipment.
