<p>Starting pay: $20.00 USD</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The MIS Specialist's role is to ensure proper system operations. IT Specialists perform computer technical support services for all IT equipment.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)</p> <ul> <li>Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail </li><li>Documents all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue </li><li>Records, tracks, and documents the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken </li><li>Applies diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting </li><li>Access' software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution </li><li>Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications </li><li>Performs preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals </li><li>Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision </li><li>Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Advanced knowledge of basic computer hardware </li><li>Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including </li><li>Extensive application support experience </li><li>Knowledge of programming languages </li><li>Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities </li><li>Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products </li><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, and/or 5 years equivalent work preferred </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain required licensure </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time </li><li>Work area is subject to variable temperatures </li><li>May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise </li></ul> <p>GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills.
