To impact the world in meaningful ways, you must bring those innovations to light, and that is precisely what we do.</p> <p>How You'll Make an Impact</p> <ul> <li>Assist in search for and review peer-reviewed scientific literature on cognitive science and human factors research </li><li>Studying and contributing to systems design </li><li>Conducting usability testing and human-in the-loop evaluations </li><li>Supporting data collection and analysis activities </li><li>Participating in user interviews </li><li>Assisting with technical documentation </li><li>Apply written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members using email, phone, and virtual meeting technology </li><li>Participate in a timely, productive, and collegial manner on a multidisciplinary project team </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in human factors and system usability evaluation </li><li>Completed B.A./B.S. degree in an applied mathematics discipline such as statistics, computer science, or mathematics </li><li>Currently enrolled and completed at least one year of coursework in an accredited graduate program work toward a Master or Doctoral degree in an applied mathematics discipline, such as mathematical psychology, statistics, computer science, or physics </li><li>Background in human factors, cognitive science, or related behavioral science disciplines, along with strong analytical and written communication skills, is preferred </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$25.00 - $27.00/hour</p>
