Experience performing and reviewing data for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and/or Imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (icIEF) experience is required.</p> <ul> <li>Support client's Analytical Technology group by conducting wet-chemistry and instrumental analytical chemistry analysis on in-process, final batch concentrate (FBC), monovalent bulk concentrate (MBC) sample types. </li><li>Preparing analytical standards and reagents </li><li>Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments </li><li>Calculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental software </li><li>Documenting results in electronic laboratory notebooks and reviewing notebooks of peers </li><li>Supporting senior analytical chemists on various projects as assigned </li><li>Utilizing technical knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolution of process problems </li><li>Document experiment execution using an electronic lab notebook, batch record, and/or protocols </li><li>Prioritize and organize work to meet project deadlines and support team goals </li><li>Communicate effectively with co-workers and client staff members </li><li>Due to close work with specific bacterial strains, the following vaccinations will be offered by the company: </li><li>Blood Borne Pathogens (Hep B) </li><li>(Pneumovax 23) </li><li>(Menactra) </li><li>(Tdap) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment </li><li>Experience working with proteins or carbohydrates </li><li>Experience performing and reviewing data for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and/or Imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (icIEF) experience </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong computer skills </li><li>Incumbent must be organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a collaborative environment. </li><li>Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Position is full-time, onsite Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, position is located in Sanford, North Carolina </li><li>May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs. </li><li>Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Sanford, NC are encouraged to apply. </li><li>Valid driver's license and personal transportation </li></ul> <p>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options </li><li>Life and disability insurance </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Paid vacation and holidays </li><li>Yearly goal-based bonus & eligibility for merit-based increases </li></ul> <p>Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.</p>
