Maverik's Sr Manager of Continuous Improvement plays a key role in strengthening operational performance across the organization-driving measurable results, refining workflows, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement into how we operate.</p> <p>Why this role matters:</p> <p>This role directly impacts Maverik's ability to enhance efficiency, scale responsibly, improve team member and customer experiences, and sustain operational excellence across the business.</p> <p>Location/Schedule:</p> <p>This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.</p> <p>Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:</p> <p>This role leads hands-on continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools. It partners across the business to solve complex problems, streamline workflows, and ensure improvements are sustained over time.</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership to direct reports, including hiring, training, development, and mentoring. </li><li>Assess and redesign workflows using Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools. </li><li>Standardize and refine policies, procedures, and quality processes for long-term adoption. </li><li>Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Retail, Logistics, and other teams to align improvements with business goals. </li><li>Facilitate improvement events, workshops, and problem-solving sessions. </li><li>Define key performance measures and track results using dashboards, KPIs, and process control tools. </li></ul> <p>You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:</p> <ul> <li>5-7 years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, or process transformation, with measurable project outcomes. </li><li>Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Improvement certification (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred). </li><li>Experience leading process optimization and workflow redesign initiatives. </li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate goals into action and create psychological safety across teams. </li><li>Leadership strengths in coaching, developing team members, and fostering accountability and collaboration. </li><li>The Maverik Spirit - you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Bonus points if you also bring:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>Black Belt certification. </li><li>Experience supporting a 24/7 operation or responding to urgent operational needs. </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>Pay Range: $121,000-$131,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities</p> <p>The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.</p> <p>Benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Full Health, Dental, and Vision Package with company contribution to cost </li><li>In-Store and Fuel Discounts </li><li>Retirement plan with company match (401K) </li><li>Eligible for the annual incentive bonus program </li><li>Profit Sharing </li><li>Comprehensive Paid Time-Off Policy, along with additional perks and benefits </li></ul>
