They are looking to add an Office Assistant (Financial Services Department) to their team.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$26/hr</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Office Assistant (Financial Services Department) should have experience in the legal or financial services industries. They must be dedicated and detail-oriented, willing and able to help as needed. The role will play a crucial part in managing the operations and ensuring accurate information about documents.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Office Assistant (Financial Services Department):</p> <ul> <li>Provide administrative support to the Financial Services Department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documents. </li><li>Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and correspondence. </li><li>Handle sensitive financial and legal documents with confidentiality and precision. </li><li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. </li><li>Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical, for easy retrieval of information. </li><li>Support the team in conducting audits and compliance checks. </li><li>Respond to inquiries and provide information to faculty, staff, and students regarding financial policies and procedures. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the Financial Services Department. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Office Assistant (Financial Services Department):</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role within legal or financial services is a must. </li><li>Strong understanding of financial and legal terminologies and procedures. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with financial management software. </li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. </li><li>A proactive and problem-solving attitude. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
