<p>As a Field Mechanic you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on FieldForce diesel equipment. This field-based role includes on-site work at customer locations and participation in an on-call rotation. You'll work independently, solve mechanical issues, and keep operations running safely and efficiently.</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools </li><li>Perform routine inspections and Tier 4 engine maintenance </li><li>Rebuild or repair engines, emissions systems, and pump components </li><li>Maintain detailed records and report equipment conditions to the manager </li><li>Follow all safety procedures and environmental standards </li><li>Participate in weekly on-call schedule and respond to urgent repairs </li><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely </li><li>Travel to job sites as needed (approx. 50%) </li><li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>2-4 years of diesel repair experience or equivalent training </li><li>Tier 4 engine and emission system knowledge preferred </li><li>Strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical systems </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision </li><li>Familiarity of Engine diagnostic tools and Electrical components </li><li>Must be willing to learn and be part of a growing Team </li><li>This role operates in both shop and field environments and requires the ability to work in all weather conditions </li></ul>
