This role works with various stakeholders, including other Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Business Relationship Managers, and Project Managers, to establish the processes, standards, and governance for Enterprise Architecture to drive consistency in decision-making and quality of outputs and delivery.</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <ul> <li>Support the Lead Architect in defining a compelling architectural vision as well as a clear business-led technology strategy and roadmap for the Corporate Functions & Governance domain, which includes the following Olympus business functions: i) HR ii) Finance iii) Corporate and iv) Compliance. </li><li>Support the creation of business strategies providing technology expertise and an understanding of MedTech industry technology trends and best practice to inform business. </li><li>Monitor emerging technologies and assess their suitability for Olympus. </li></ul> <p>Inputs into an up-to-date, forward-thinking innovation agenda for Olympus, specific to the Corporate Functions & Governance domain.</p> <ul> <li>Provide Enterprise Architecture inputs and advice for Business Case development (technology, people, and processes). </li><li>Assist in the integration of technology solutions across HR, Finance, Corporate & Compliance. </li><li>Collaborate with lead architects and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into IT architecture solutions. </li><li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT architecture documentation and domain reference architectures, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines. </li><li>Support the implementation of integrated systems that streamline processes and enhance collaboration between departments. </li><li>Assist in creating architectural designs and solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices. </li><li>Assist in ensuring IT solutions comply with regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. </li><li>Research emerging technologies and trends relevant to the Corporate Functions & Governance domain and assist in evaluating new technologies for their potential to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. </li><li>Support the definition and upholding of the architecture guardrails for their domain. </li><li>Other responsibilities / duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent and related experience). </li><li>Extensive experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), Zachman, etc. </li><li>Broad experience in software engineering and design architecture (certification preferred). </li><li>Experience in defining architecture policies and frameworks. </li><li>Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes. </li><li>Knowledge and experience in project management, process modelling, data modelling and systems analysis. </li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of contributing to business aligned Technology strategies. </li><li>Knowledge of technology integrations. </li><li>Understanding of technology security and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Understanding of technology trends. </li><li>Demonstrable business and tech acumen. </li><li>Detail oriented. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 7 years' experience as an Enterprise Architect or comparable with touchpoints in R&D, Quality Management, and regulatory compliance preferred. location is $131,702.00 - $184,384.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
