<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>This position requires a working knowledge of maintenance needs for a multi-unit building including electrical, plumbing, and AC experience. Applicant must be able to communicate clearly and follow verbal and written instructions. Pay is commensurate with years of experience.</p> <p>SHIFT AVAILABILITY:</p> <ul> <li>Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. </li><li>On-call as needed </li></ul> <p>POSITION DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to make minor repairs as needed. </li><li>Ability to do painting and simple carpentry repairs. </li><li>Ability to sweep and/or shovel walks in wintery weather conditions for employee and resident safety. </li><li>Ability to care for tools and keep maintenance closets clean and orderly. </li><li>Ability to communicate to Supervisor about needed repairs. </li><li>Ability to perform tasks with due consideration for facility residents, visitors and staff in area. </li><li>Ability to keep work area clean and orderly. </li><li>Ability to perform routine repetitive tasks despite frequent interruptions. </li><li>Ability to work and cooperate well with other employees. </li><li>Ability to work under close supervision. </li><li>Ability to safely operate various machinery and equipment. </li><li>Ability to safely use required hand tools. </li><li>Ability to perform other related duties as directed by Supervisor. </li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of high school diploma </li><li>Must be be to work flexible hours </li><li>Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL WORKING REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds </li><li>Ability to lift, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull loads required </li><li>Must be able to walk approximately four miles daily </li></ul>
