<p>Kforce's client in Portland, OR iis seeking a QA Tester with IT quality assurance and project experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Writes and executes tests on newly developed or acquired software to evaluate its capabilities versus system requirements and documented specifications </li><li>Writes test plans, test cases/scripts, test reports and evaluations </li><li>May assist with technical support, software installation, problem solving and troubleshooting </li><li>Provides input to development group on findings </li><li>Designs and develops testing scenarios and support tools, and administers portions of the testing and support process </li><li>Writes and performs regression test plans on new software releases and reports discrepancies </li><li>Conceives and implements changes to the test plans to ensure that all software functions are thoroughly tested* Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent work experience </li><li>2+ years of experience with designing, planning and execution of IT system testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life cycle </li></ul>
