For information about ABM's benefits, visit</p> <p>ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (English)</p> <p>ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) (Español)</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collect and transport recyclable materials (e.g., cardboard, plastics, metals, paper) from designated collection points throughout the warehouse. </li><li>Sort recyclables according to material type and company recycling protocols. </li><li>Operate compactors, balers, and other recycling equipment safely and efficiently. </li><li>Monitor recycling bins and containers, ensuring they are not contaminated with non-recyclable waste. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness around recycling stations and waste disposal areas. </li><li>Assist janitorial staff with general cleaning duties as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. </li><li>Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or contamination issues to the supervisor. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). </li><li>Support warehouse sustainability initiatives and participate in training related to waste management and recycling. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Previous experience in janitorial, warehouse, or recycling roles is a plus. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods. </li><li>Familiarity with recycling practices and equipment operation is desirable. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed in a production warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. </li><li>Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. </li></ul> <p>A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
